Kooperationsprojekt mit der Universidad de Colima/México
Die DFG finanziert 2017/2018 den Aufbau einer internationalen Kooperation zwischen Prof. Dr. Paula-Irene Villa Braslavsky und Prof. Adriana Cruz PhD von der Universidad de Colima in México. Gemeinsam werden sie Workshops mit Teams aus Deutschland und México organisieren, mit dem Ziel eine nachhaltige, langfristige Kooperation zwischen Forschenden und Forschungsinstitutionen in Deutschland einerseits und in Mexico andererseits zu etablieren, die im Bereich der Gender Studies arbeiten.
Analyzing global mobilities, gender, and feminism in Germany and Mexico. Theoretical and empirical approaches
This project aims at starting a long-term collaboration between German and Mexican scholars and institutions in the field of gender studies with a special interest on contemporary human mobilities, feminism, women, and minority groups. Participants will work toward (1) identifying priority areas, expertise and needs of researchers from both countries to promote common collaborative research agendas, (2) laying out particular research projects to work in the short term, (3) capacity building to benefit from each other’s expertise and (4) networking to strengthen the relationships between researchers from Germany and Mexico.
